Teacher Appreciation and Seminar Day:  August 4, 2015

The International Museum of Cultures will be hosting a special Teacher Appreciation and Seminar Day at the International Museum of Cultures on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 3:30 PM.  This event will provide educational information about the museum and its Discovery Boxes.  Lunch will be provided by Spring Creek Barbecue

Fall Festival of International Cultures:  11:00 am – 5:00 pm

A series of Saturday events on different cultures from around the world, including a Saturday evening Cultural Film.  Events include Guest Speakers in the Community Room, Targeted Cultural Exhibits in the Museum, Craft Activities for Children, and Cultural Food, Music and Dance outside (weather permitting). $5.00 for Adults – free for children and students.

October 24th – Africa

November 7th – American Indian

November 14th – Children Around the World

Fall Festival of Cultural Films:  7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Cultural Films selected by Dr. Anne Perry of the Art Institute of Dallas and Tim Perry, film director and producer, who will provide an introduction to each film and lead a film discussion afterwards.    Free for Festival Attendees.  Childcare Provided for $5.00.
